A company must prioritize investments in communications that fulfill the brand pledge and stay away from wasting funds on chasing new polished digital capabilities when not related to the business goals and objectives. In addition, companies can also set themselves apart by taking the stage to do different set of activities than their competitors or by doing the same activities within the organization differently.
